Landed in a National-level Park! Binzhou Lübang’s Asbestos-Free Calcium Silicate Boards Adopted in Mass Quantities in the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park of the Yellow River Delta Agricultural High-tech Zone

The new-generation agricultural machinery intelligent manufacturing industrial park in Shandong Yellow River Delta Agricultural High-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone (a national-level agricultural high-tech zone) has commenced construction. Binzhou Lübang panels are extensively applied to external walls, internal partitions and fireproof roof ceilings of Steel Structure Workshop No.3 and No.4 of the project. The main materials adopted are 18mm conventional Asbestos-Free Calcium Silicate Boards and 15mm fluorocarbon pre-coated decorative Calcium Silicate Boards, with the total supply area exceeding 23,000 square meters.

The park features long-span steel-structure buildings that impose strict requirements on panels in terms of deformation resistance, fire resistance, sunlight resistance and moisture resistance. Bordering the coast, the Yellow River Delta has high air salinity and humidity. Ordinary gypsum boards tend to get damp, moldy, deformed and fall off. Manufactured through high-pressure autoclave curing, Lübang’s asbestos-free calcium silicate boards boast outstanding waterproofing, salt spray resistance and dimensional stability, making them ideal for coastal environments with high humidity and salinity. In addition, the panels achieve a fire resistance limit of 2 hours, complying with fire control codes for industrial plants.

Dry hanging construction technology is adopted, greatly shortening the construction period. The project developer commented that the panels deliver excellent flatness, and the fluorocarbon finish is UV-resistant and resistant to discoloration under long-term outdoor exposure. This cooperation marks a benchmark project of Lübang panels settled in the national-level Yellow River Delta park. Follow-up renovation projects including research office buildings and supporting dormitories in the agricultural high-tech zone will continue to place additional orders for Lübang’s full range of inorganic boards.
